Re: PRESERVATION ALERT: Gen. Mark P. Lowrey's Log

Being a Southern Baptist, I am very interested in the preservation of General Lowery's log home. Do you know Brigadier General (Ret.) Parker Hills? He is a Civil War enthusiast and has worked extensively in Civil War Preservation, especially for the Battle of Raymond (Raymond, Mississippi). He lives in Clinton, Mississippi (Hinds County). Also, he leads guided tours of Civil War sites (Brices Cross Roads, Shiloh, etc.). He may be able to get some information to you and assist you with your issue. His website is: www.BattleFocus.com. His e-mail address is: Parker@BattleFocus.com. I hope this is helpful. Please keep me informed on this preservation matter. My e-mail address is: jmike47@yahoo.com. Thank you. Also, Major General Harold Cross, Mississippi National Guard, is interested in Gen. Lowery as a Chaplain during the Civil War. I, too, am a Chaplain. Where is the log home, now? I would like to see it.
