The Mississippi in the Civil War Message Board

Re: Mississippi Regimental Writers Association

Greetings, First to Jim, I appologize for being off the board's subject, but this is something I need. I am leading an effort to record the history of Stanford's Mississippi Battery. Our goal is to find all 268 of the origional men's burial sites and as much family info as we can. Then we are going to put this with the military history of the unit. We have been on this project two years and have located 110 of the men so far. This has lead to marking several graves that were unmarked, the cleaning and maintaining of three cemeteries. I would be very interested in such a group. Again Mr. Jim, I appologize for my error in this posting, but this is an effort dear to my heart and a worthy effort, I believe.
