John C. McDade is listed as serving in the 35th MS Infantry, the 42nd MS Infantry, and the 46th MS Infantry. I don't know if they are all the same man.

I did find a MS CS Pension Application for John C. McDade of the 42nd MS Infantry. John filed his pension application in 1910 in Panola County, MS.
