35th Mississippi

I am transcribing letters written by Pvt A. F. McGahey of Co D, 42nd Alabama Infantry. I had done this previously, but before donating the letters, I am going back over them. He often speaks of his brother Thomas who was assigned to the 35th Mississippi. In one letter he says, "I saw Brother Thomas the other day and he looked better than I ever saw him hee was in town last night on his way to his company his company is bursted up and hee is going join Bilufs's company wich is at chatanuga" I am not sure about Bilufs's company....that is what it appears to be. Does anyone know about Company H of the 35th being split and who Bilufs might be? The letter was written on September 10, 1862. I've researched the time frame, but just can't figure who Bilufs is. The spelling is not really the best, as he refers to Kirby Smith as Kurbia, and there is absolutely no punctuation. I believe that T.J. McGahan/McGahey, Co H is Brother Thomas, as his name was Thomas Jefferson. If anyone can help me, please let me know.
