I found an old abandoned cemetery yesterday and one grave was for Thomas N. Braselmann, son of Dr. T. Braselmann of the Newberry District, SC. He died at the first Battle of Manassas. I am trying to find out any information about him and the unit he was with. I think this cemetery (Oak Plain Cemetery) is in Union County, Mississippi, but it could possibly be in the very southern edge of Tippah Co.

He married Mary A. T. Rogers and left 3 small children when he died. Quite a bit is written on his grave marker, but not his unit.
