I didn't know there was going to be a quiz with this thread! :) They were an artillery company in name only for most of their existence. Those that were veterans of the Natchez Quitman Light Artillery manned the guns at Pensecola and towards the end of the siege at Port Hudson some of the men from the battery were posted to Battery 11 at Port Hudson. I'm just a CW arty nut.(most of the models I build are even CW arty pieces)
