Wayne Cosby's burial database for LA Soldiers also lists George Lee Walton (2/27/1830 - 2/21/1909) of Company F, 25th. LA Inf. as buried in the Natchez City Cemetery.

Booth's records indicate he enlisted March 17, 1862 in Vidalia, LA. He is listed as present with the 25th. LA on rolls from Jan. to Aug., 1863.

I sure you are aware your G.L. Walton was captured July 9, 1863 at Port Hudson.
