Was this gun a Whitworth?

Going back to the original mystery of the Whitworth at Raymond. The one fact that stands out to me is that Gregg did not include in his after action report any mention of a burst gun, especially a Whitworth, in his losses report. I think this peculiar omission considering the reports of other generals and the usual detail of including such information.
