There is a grave of a Confederate Officer buried in a very run down cemetary in Claiborne County, Mississippi. This cemetary is located in District 3 just off Whitaker Road . Turn south off the Natchez Trace or Old Port Gibson Road and go to the first gravel road on the right. The cemetary will be on the right with what is left of a concrete block wall around it. There is also the remains of an old house there. This is known by older locals as the "Old Russel Place".

Does anyone know anything about this soldier?

PS: I think the gravel road is named Russel Road.
