Hello Mississippi Compatriots! I am a Ms native from Pontotoc who now lives in Va. I am a charter member of the Capt William L Day Camp 2091.

I had the privilege of having my camp commander make most of my uniform and he was kind enough to toss on Mississippi buttons for me. I have a Ms belt buckle and no good Ms solider would be without his Bowie knife.

I am now starting to work on accuracy. My most known relatives were Tillman Newton Ross and William T Ross both of Co. H, 31st Miss Inf.

I would like to get as close to accurate as to how they would have dressed. Here is what I look like now.
