Where was 9th MS Cav. in Feb. '64

Four years ago, a discussion on this message board indicated that the 9th Mississippi Cavalry was near Okolona in early February of 1864.

I am interested in knowing the whereabouts of Captain Thomas Flournoy's company of scouts attached to the 9th MS Cavalry on or about February 19, 1864.

On that night, a Union soldier named Wallace under Captain Frank Moore, 2nd Illinois Cavalry Battalion, killed my GGG-grandfather, Isaac Hopkins Jarman, on the porch of his plantation near Egypt Station, between Okolona and Aberdeen. The plantation was then pillaged and burned.

Isaac's son, James Edgar "Ed" Jarman (my GG-grandfather) was serving in Captain Flournoy's scout company and went home soon after the burning.

The question I need to answer is:
Where was Ed and his company at or around the time the plantation was burned?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
