A few months ago a friend sent me a photocopy of a May 1973 article in Civil War Times Illustrated. The article quoted heavily from Amos Jarman's memoir, which I have not yet read. Thanks again for the reference info.

Just as important as finding the memoir is knowing how you found it, Mitchell. Is there a way to search for original documents online?
