Need a research bail-out

About 3 weeks ago (mid to late Feb), I was browsing for information on my g-g-grandfather, James McNeece. He was a Private in Co. H (James Creek Volunteers), 1st Mississippi. That unit went into service in September 1861 at Iuka, MS, did some training, then moved to Hopkinsville, KY. James died of disease (measles?) there in January 1862. I came across an account written by a soldier in the 3rd Mississippi who told of their build-up and movement from Mississippi to Hopkinsville. Several paragraphs into the account, he wrote that the “1st Mississippi was with us” and encountered the same things he’d written about, so it gave me some good insight into the last few weeks of James’s life. I must have gotten distracted, because I failed to bookmark the location of the account and now I can’t find it again. Does this ring a bell with anyone? I’d appreciate an assist out of my rookie mistake!....Jim McNeece
