Ms. Lisa, are you researching the 7th Regiment or 7th Battalion? If it is the 7th Refiment please click on the link below to "Po'Boys Civil War" and see what we have posted online about this Regiment. Oh, and FYI, the 7th Regt. was known appropriately as the "7th Mississippi Volunteer Infantry". These units formed at the start of the war took great pride in being able to include the word "Volunteer" in their name.
