Adolphus Gustavous Brown - KIA Shiloh. His daughter, Virginia, married John Fletcher Huff, the last surviving Confederate veteran in Amite County who died in 1938.

John Morrison Kinnison - KIA Shiloh, 7 Apr 62. According to 'List of Casualties,' he was on the "Right Wing, Second Corps"...and died at "7:00 am, gunshot wound in the
forehead."

John Kinnison Magee - KIA Shiloh, 7 Apr 62. In 'List of Casualties,' he was killed at "9:00 am, shot in mouth."

Co. I - Covington Rifles

William H. Holloway - DOW, Battle of Murfreesboro, TN
"Dangerously wounded from gunshot" on 31 Dec 1862, taken behind Yankee lines, where he died as a POW.
