On this day 150 years ago, Jefferson "Jeffie" Washington Wilkinson, Co C, 7th Miss Inf, went to be with our Lord, being killed at the Battle of Shiloh.

May his memory, and the memories of all the others who perished during that troubled time, not be forgotten.
