The Unit should be Hoskins not Haskins. Commanded by James Hoskins known as Hoskins Mississippi Battery or the Brookhaven Light Artillery. Men from the 7th Mississippi were detached to Hoskins' Battery when the regiment was on the coast to help the artillery men as they manned the steamers as gunboats. Many of the men in the battery were from Lawrence County and what is now Lincoln County. It is not a stretch to think that these two Uriah's are the same man. This man died in 1864 it appears and so did our Uriah Price Co. B 7th Miss. I have read that Footnote has not completed placing the Battery's records on line, but that does not mean that his records (Uriah Price listed with Hoskins' battery) are not at the National Archives or the State Archives.
I still recommend a thorough search for the records of the Uriah Price in Hoskins Artillery. If this is his only card as is the case in the 7th Mississippi, I got nothin' else!
