I realize that to many on this board this may not be that exciting, (especially those that have been at this for awhile or that are working on larger projects), but I thought I would share anyway. I know I haven't really posted in some time, but those of you who are not new to this board may remember that I have been working on a history of Captain English's MS Battery, well last week I made contact with a descendent of one of the enlisted men. This is not the first descendent I have had contact with, but it is the first one to have photos! So after ten years of research, I will finally know what one of my artillerists looked like (once we can get our computers to communcate) and not just their heastones. We have been e-mailing back and forth and have agreed to share information. So let this be a lesson to all researchers, no matter how obscure your research seems to be, the information is out there.
