Uriah Price, Private, Capt. R. S. Carter's Company (Bogue Chitto Guards), Mississippi Volunteers,* mustered into service May 1, 1861 at Bogue Chitto by Capt. R. J. Boven, his presence at the May & June, 1861 muster is not stated, no further records [this is the one and only card in records of the 7th Mississippi]

Note - He must have been dropped from the rolls sometime before August 17, 1861 as his name is not found on the subsequent Aug. 17 to Sept. 27, 1861 muster roll, dated Jan. 29, 1862

* This company was successively designated as Captain Carter's Company, Captain Brister's Company, and Company B, 7th Regiment Mississippi Infantry

You may procure his records through the service noted in the Red enclosed box above

Unfortunately, Fold3/Footnote has not completed inputing records for all the member of Capt. Hoskins' Battery, Light Artillery (Brookhaven Light Artillery)
