Stationed at Camp Little, May 19 August 31, 1862.
April 26.— This company organized at Fredonia, Pontotoc
County, Mississippi.

May 5.— Marched from that place to Aberdeen, Mississippi and
joined the Forty-third Regiment, Mississippi Volunteers.
May 27.— Marched from Aberdeen to Okolona, Mississippi.
July 6.— Was transported on the cars to Gainesville, Alabama.
August 9.— Was transported from that place to Saltillo, where it
is in camps at this time.
Stationed at Camp Pettus, Aberdeen, Mississippi, May 22, 1862.
Station not stated, June 14, 1862.
Stationed at Camp Rogers, near Waterford, Mississippi, Septem-
ber-October 1862.

August 31.— Marched six miles from Saltillo to Guntown.
September 11.— From there marched to Iuka.
September 14.— Arrived [at Iuka], capturing that place without a
fight.
September 19.— A portion of our Army had a sharp engagement.
This company was not engaged.
September 20.— Left Iuka.
September 23.— Arrived at Baldwyn.
September 26.— Left Baldwyn.
October 3.— Had a partial engagement.
October 4.— The engagement became general. This company
acted her part nobly, losing one man killed, five wounded and
two missing. Being overpowered by superior numbers, we were
forced to fall back.

October 10.— Arrived at this place.
Stationed at camp near Vicksburg, Mississippi, November-
December 1862.
November 9.— Left Waterford. Arrived at Abbeville the same
day.
December 1.— Left Abbeville.
December 7.— Arrived at Grenada.
December 28.— Left Grenada.
December 29.— Arrived at this place.
Stationed at Snyder's Mill, January-February 1863.

Stationed at Vicksburg, Mississippi, May-June 1863.
April 27.— Heavy demonstrations, one made on the Yazoo at
Snyder's Bluff, continued for two days.
May 2.— The regiment was ordered to Chickasaw Bayou and
remained there fourteen days.
May 17.— Ordered to Vicksburg and arrived in position in the
rear of the city at 11 p.m.
May 19.— Active skirmishing commenced, succeeded by charges
along the whole line. These several charges were gallantly
repulsed.
Stationed at Columbus, Mississippi, [July]-October 1863.
July 4.— All of this company was captured at Vicksburg, except
those marked not paroled and not exchanged.
July 23.— Furloughed at Enterprise, Mississippi for thirty days.
Stationed at Columbus, Mississippi, November-December 1863.
Stationed at Montevallo, Alabama, [January] -April 1864.
February 29.— This company was not mustered on February 29
because Brigadier-General Ruggles failed to issue the necessary
orders.

April 11.— This company, with the regiment, marched from
camp at Columbus, Mississippi. [Traveled] by steamer to
Demopolis, Alabama, a distance of about 200 miles.
April 12.— Arrived at Demopolis. From there [traveled] fifty
miles to Selma, Alabama by railroad.
April 13.— Thence [traveled] fifty-five miles to Montevallo.
Stationed near Atlanta, Georgia, July-August 1864.
July 2.— Left Kenesaw Mountain at night. Formed line of battle
two miles below Marietta.
July 4.— Skirmished with the enemy. Moved that night to the
Chattahoochee River and fortified.
July 9.— Crossed the river. Did picket duty on the river and
Peach Tree Creek.
July 20.— We then moved into the outer defenses of Atlanta.

July 28.— Moved to position on the Lick Skillet Road.
August 27.— Skirmished with the enemy until August 27, when
he retired from our front.
