The first detectives were in St Louis, but I can not find out the names of the two people who started the detectives.
I have found information on steamboat detectives who made $1.00 a day but no names. This happened around the time of the Cival War and before Allen Pinkerton started his services! Could someone please help me with the facts about the detectives, or e-mail a web site that could help?
