Re: William Webb

Thank you so much. Joseph Webb 1786 NC also had a son William born about the same time as Asa's son William,
so that is what is so confusing about William Webb.
I have never been able to figure out what William Webb
belonged to whom. Asa Webb was married to Mary Bridges,
we found that out from a land deed in Claiborne Co Tennessee. William Webb was married to Mary Rogers, a
mistake on the marriage records per death certificate
of William Oscar. William Huston Webb was married to Elizabeth Baxter. I am also going to check out the
Webb buried in Vinita Oklahoma or try to find a connection.
Thank you very much John. There are several of us researching this family and it certainly has been a challenge.
You wouldn't happen to know the maiden name of Joseph's wife Margaret. It has been written up all over the internet that Joseph was married to a Mary Polly Lassiter Henkle but that person was married to a Joseph Webb that
lived and died in Orange Co Indiana. Per DNA studies
it looks like Joseph Webb and Larkin Morris Webb were
related. They have exact matches of DNA. Thanks again, Peggy
