William Webb

I am trying to find out for certain what Webb family
William Webb born 1823 Tenn died Feb 25, 1886 buried in New
Salem Church cemetery Independence Missouri descends from. He is buried close
to Hewitt Preston (Press) Webb who was a son of Asa Webb.
The archieves only state that William served under Anderson
and was in many battles, but does not give his parent's
names as they do the other Webbs that were in the Missouri
Civil war. He was married to Mary Rogers who later married
John M Land that rode with Jesse James and was killed
in 1910 right after the census was taken.
William's grave was enterred by the daughters of the American Revolution. Any help would be appreciated.
