Rosemary, I was just reading your notes on Andrew Walker on the guerilla roster. It says that Quanrill killed the 1st Union soldier in Jackson Co. and the Walker incident was the first mention of Quantrill in Jackson Co. Do you know the dates when these events happened? Was this before he was mentioned in a report by Capt. Oliver, 7th MO Inf. in late Jan. 1862?
