You make some good points, and I couldn’t agree with you more that there is really no solid evidence that Quantrill was in the Territories or at Wilson’s Creek in 1861. I should point out that outside of the two sources I noted in my previous post, I have not come across any other sources that seem overly compelling or trustworthy when it comes to Quantrill being at Wilson’s Creek. Though personally, based on the available sources and circumstantial evidence, I think (and this is just my personal belief) that it is very possible or even likely that Quantrill may have been in the Indian Territories and at Wilson’s Creek in 1861.
