Help needed-William Coleman

I am looking for information about my ancestor, William Coleman, who fought for the Confederacy in the Civil War. He was born in 1835 in Ohio and enlisted in the Confederate army in Kansas City in 1861. He participated in the battles of Wilson's Creek and Lexington MO and in the battle of Corinth, MISS. He was with Price on his raid through Missouri. He was taken prisoner at Vicksburg and was sent to the War Hospital at Alton, ILL. He marched with Shelby to Mexico in 1864. I am trying to find out the unit he was with, his rank, and more details about his service. If I could find a photo that too would be great.

Sincerely,
Ric Jensen
