Sorry John.
Benjamin Franklin Jones was born in 1826, in Cumberland Kentucky. All of his brothers were confederate soldiers. Granville Jones served in Texas, Collin County, Capt Ed Chambers regiment and survived the war. John Willliam Jones enlisted in the 24th Arkansas infantry and also survived. Harrison Jones I cannot find, but there was a Harrison Jones in Etters Battery of the same age, but as with Benjamin,it's a common name. Harrison also survived. Samuel Wilson Jones was not so lucky. He died while serving with Portlocks Regiment in the 24th Arkansas infantry. A 5th brother Aaron Uriah Jones died in 1862, but I have been unable to locate him either. So that leaves Benjamin, my GGG Grandfather. No one seems to know anything about him after the 1860 (living with his children all to young for the war) Sevier County Arkansas census. His widow Nancy E. Jones shows up as a widow in the 1870 Little River Arkansas Census.
