I have a reprint of THE HELENA VICTORY news clip reprinted from the Missouri Democrat 05 Jul 1863 listing both Sgt. Shale and Greenbury Mattox as killed.

My 2nd great grandfather, Thomas A. Moore, was pronounced mortally wounded with a gun shot wound to the right temple at the same battle.
