Dear Scott,

My reference to the U.S. Confederate Army is actually a reference to the Confederate Army in the United States of America.....since I am not a student of war in general (and, obviously, I am not a student of the U.S. Civil War, either) I don't know if someone else has called themselves a Confederate Army or not! So I use the term U.S. Confederate Army (representing the South) to distinguish from the U.S. Federal Army (representing the North).
