Re: Where is Jim Anderson's grave?

Hi Kit. Thank you for your thoughts on this important matter. I also believe Jim Anderson is most likely buried in Texas but would think, if the accounts of him being killed near the Sherman courthouse in the late 1860's are correct, that his gravesite would be well-documented but, of course, it isn't. I am hoping that others, who agree with Settle and other writers that Jim Anderson lived at least until 1874, will post their documentation here that supports those beliefs.
Like you, I am also curious as to the authenticity of the "ball and chain" photo.
