Bruce - Again thanks to Larry and to you for such good information. Johnson's battery had three "sections" thus six guns, and perhaps not all were steel '2-pounders'. The guns are most prominently mentioned in regard to Kirksville, Aug. '62, where Col. McNeil mentions "section of steel 2-pounder battery, Lieutenant McClaren".
