Re: Wanted: Opinion on a 'Wounded' Soldier

Chief & Craig,

This man would today be listed as a battle casualty even though he lost no time on duty. Many years ago, a sniper's bullet went through my steel pot, ringing my bell and giving me one humongous headache! The round did not break the skin but I did have a mild concussion. I was not away from duty any due to this but the corpsman called me in as a Zulu ( Wounded in Action) because, as he said, the injury was a result of hostile fire. The same should hold true for said wounded Yankee.
