I am attempting to locate the Civil War military records of my great grandfather, William Perry Johnson. His headstone is engraved: Co H 69 Reg MO Vol. He died in 1927 and is buried in Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma having moved there in the 1990s.

He lived in either Dent or Phelps County, Missouri about the time of the Civil War. I have found his brother name listed with the Missouri 8th Infantry Company C. His brother was lsited as Thomas Logan Johnson, 1st Lt.
