Have you correspondence of Marmaduke's in Princeton, Dallas county, Arkansas?

Virginia Davis GRAY's 1863-1865 diary published 1983 in AHQ has entry Septembr 2, 1964 where Marmaduke, Cabell, Price, Fagin and other generals left Princeton 30 Aug for Missouri(ah). She noted Marmaduke; "... had cut off all his hair and whiskers and was as ugly as he cpuld be."
