I worked this guy up. Fair amount of info as he lived more than a 100 years. Son of John Baker, he and his brother(John Baker) farmed together and supposedly went to Nebraska to avoid the war and service. Article in Richmond Conservator, Monday Nov 6, 1939. Ended up with nephew in Polo MO. I have not found a direct link to any civil war service for him or his brother, thus I put him on the back burner...
