Back in the 2010 timeframe, Matt Matthews indicated he was researching what sounded like would be the most definitive work ever on the Kansas redlegs. I had closely followed the blog he had going at that time, which was filled with some very fascinating information on that topic. I just saw that his blog was active again in 2019:

I wonder is he still has plans for a book. If not, he ought to be able to crank out one heck of an article. Either way, I am looking forward to (and have been for some time) the further results of his research.
