I have been trying to research my ggg grandfather, Burrell Cloud who was a Private in Co. E of the 3rd Missouri Cavalry Regiment. I would really appreciate any links to any history on that regiment. I have found some items, but they are about the 3rd Missouri Cavalry Brigade (dismounted). Burrell had 2 brothers who enlisted also. All three were 3rd MO Cav Brigade. Burrell was Co. E. One brother began in Co. E and was soon transferred to Co. G. He was killed at Vicksburg. The other brother began in Co. G.

Basically, I would just like to find any info on any battles (other than Vicksburg) that they may have fought in as well as the Battle Flag.
