August 1, 1863, gun shot wound in back, released November 8, 1863, received at Military Prison, Alton, Illinois November 12, 1863, admitted Post & Prison Hospital, Alton, Ill. December 3, Veroloid, returned to quarters December 10, released April 22, 1864 on Oath of Amnesty, his record contains a note from the Adjutant General, War Department with the Confederate Home of Missouri, Higginsville June 16, 1916
