Confusion reigns! Only Quantrill connection I have run into is Givens Masterson Horn(e), son of Richard and Mattie Horne of Saline County namesake only no relation.

Braxton would have been young. Clearly John D. has some skeletons in his closet. Looks like 7th Kansas Cav was looking for him most of 1862, not a nice bunch. Working on Alfred now.

Hoping Bruce might jump in sometime :>)
