The Miss. Records would make since as the Fort Donalson prisoners were paroled just before Iuka, and Van Dorn wanted to use some of the stuff captured to re fit them with arms and equipment. It would make sense that Fort Donalson guys would be absorbed in some of the understreingth regiment's of MO such as the 4th and 6th MO.
