(This one sounds like a precursor to engagement, dated closer to Thursday, June 27, 1861. McCullough has been communicating w/Jackson's army. Might that be Robert McCulloch or a relation? Initially I thought this letter was from someone in Mulligan's command, which meant the conflict would have happened a month earlier than what I intimated before.)
