Well George, it looks like the secret is out. The ground within the hairpin of the Middle Fabius now is mine. I haven't been up there for a few years, but then it was pretty much overgrown with brush and brambles. It would be i'd guess, 10-15 acres, a third of that being swampy. I'd say it's never been gone over with detectors, at least not thru our property. But you could come across the river (creek) which in a dry summer dries up to almost nothing. You would have go thru another farm and walk a long way.......... I'm heartened to hear it is Confederate because that's where my sympathy lies, altho I was born in Quincy. What do you say next Spring we go and search around a little bit?
