Briefly tracking George and Robert Sursey, my guess is that they were either purchased or inherited from the Searcy family in Clay County but would need to do more research to nail down their history. If a slave compensation form was filed for either of them, you may already know their history. I'd love to work on this with you, but don't want to waste time repeating what you already know.
