Thanks Bryce. One of the USCT stories I researched is about a Miller County slave who helped found Lincoln Institute/University as a member of the 62nd. The descendants of his slave holder attended the school he helped found. I'd really like to compile the Missouri USCT stories in one place for others to access, but there doesn't seem to be much interest.
