I am trying to find out what happened to my great grandfather. his name was david Henderson douglas but he went by Henderson douglas. he is listed in the roster of the 68th enrolled Missouri militia, company k. this group was mustered out in march, 1863. so far I have been unable to find where he went from there. He appears in the 1860 us census with his family but does not appear in the 1870 us census.
If any one can give me any help, it would be greatly appreciated.
