I've been interested in the Twelfth Missouri's career in Nebraska especially, and the Plains generally, for years. I've collected material on a several week, early 1866, expedition from Ft. McPherson down into western Kansas, of which the Twelfth was a part, and led by Lt.Col. Brown. Glad to know someone is focusing on this unit.
