Re: Burial Markings for 8th Missouri Volunteer Cav

THANK YOU! THANK YOU VERY MUCH Mr. GEORGE MARTIN! Was not sure I was going to be able to research it that hard and 'know where to go to get it' that fast. [I'm in 'Writing mode' to re-document my Biggs Family Distortions/Discrepancies that have been passed down for Decades of Genealogy.] I appreciate your help! Information noted in Vol. XXXV, No. 4, Winter 2013. Rechecking it this morning, I was under the presumption that the author also inquiring the name of the Regiment he served with. Article per quote: Jasper Hickman (1842-1902) of Wright County Revisited - Jasper's brother Alfred who died at Duvall's Bluff, AR. 13 July 1864, was buried at Little Rock AR National Cemetery. - You Mr. George Martin have clarified it for me with solid documentation. My ancestors served in the 8th MO. Vol. Cav., USA. and I knew the 11th MO. was close, but failed to make the connection. * I hope I may be able to return the Favor and assistance to anyone. Good Luck and IT has been Appreciated! - Ralph Biggs {with a 'kicker'! MANNING DNA!}
