Update Re: Need advice re: ordering pension file

I found that a Daniel Schoonover lived close to Richard Courtright in a nearby township in Coshocton County, Ohio, and he served in the same company and regiment as Richard Courtland. (I found him in a "History of the Thirty-second Regiment: Ohio Veteran Volunteer Infantry" by E. Z. Hays, (1896) on archive.org as well as on Fold3.) A Daniel Schoonover was mentioned in the newspaper article as having escaped from jail with Richard Courtright. It looks like the Richard in the newspaper article is the same Richard that I'm interested in. Now, I'll have to order Elizabeth Carlton's widow's application. The hunt continues...
