Jim: Thanks-yes I know about their wanderings to Va. and subsequent service in the Shen Valley and Hardy and Hampshire counties WV. I am almost finished a manuscript on McNeill's Rangers and, of course, Woodson and his men rode with them on and off the last 10 months of the war.
