Yes, that's incorrect.

The gold standard for the battle is the book, "October 25th and the Battle of Mine Creek" by Lumir F. Buresh. the Lowell Press 1977.

There hasn't been a book, or any research that comes remotely close to it, since, in terms of this battle.

7th Indiana Cav - 4th Missouri Cav
10th Missouri Cav
